We sized up the competition and compared our off-road vehicles to their rivals. Check out the results below and discover why Kawasaki is the true adventure hunter.
FEATURES AND CONVENIENCE
The Teryx4™ features an exterior ROPS frame and four sturdy doors for superior protection from trees and other trail obstacles. Convenience features include two DC sockets and drink holders for everyone and with 249 lbs. of cargo capacity, there is enough room to carry a 50 liter cooler.
HANDLING
A wide-body chassis along with a low center of gravity gives the Teryx4™ great stability and maximizes cornering performance. A high-performance suspension system keeps the vehicle grounded over uneven surfaces and Kawasaki's optional high-grade electric power steering (EPS) enhances ride comfort and control.
271cc LIQUID-COOLED ENGINE / SUPERIOR TOWING
A high-performance engine delivers smooth and reliable power due to liquid-cooling technology that contributes to better heat dissipation and closer tolerances. Low to mid range performance is prioritized for everyday use and utility. The result is an engine that enables the Brute Force® 300 to tow a class-leading 500 lbs. of cargo.
Lightweight
Without sacrificing on performance or safety, the Brute Force® 750 4x4i EPS boasts 100 less cc and weighs in at 122 lbs. lighter versus the Polaris Sportsman XP® 850 EPS. What this means for the more compact Brute Force 750 4x4i EPS is a shorter, more nimble wheelbase, better handling, increased fuel-efficiency, improved ride comfort and a better overall riding experience. So in this case, the lightweight beats out the heavyweight.
Shorter Turning Radius
The Brute Force® 750 4x4i EPS has a 50.6 in. wheelbase – that's 61 mm shorter than the Polaris Sportsman XP® 850 EPS. Trails are not shaped like drag strips, and they're certainly never flat. That's why the Brute Force 750 4x4i EPS, with a shorter turning radius and optimal approach and departure angles, is measurably more maneuverable than its competition.
Suspension
Taking full command of your riding experience means feeling the road, and not just the handlebars. The Brute Force® 750 4x4i EPS feels smooth at lower speeds and remains sporty at higher speeds compared to the overall softer suspension of the Polaris Sportsman XP® 850 EPS. This means the Brute Force 750 4x4i EPS has more precise handling and action, especially as speeds increase.
Drivetrain
Take full control and advantage of 2WD or 4WD capabilities. The Brute Force® 750 4x4i EPS allows riders to transition smoothly between 2WD and 4WD modes without the jerking reaction caused by automatic engagement. And unlike the Polaris Sportsman XP® 850 EPS, which can automatically switch on 4WD without the rider knowing, the Brute Force 750 4x4i EPS doesn't believe in surprises on the trail. No surprises means riders can ascend and descend hills and attack trail transitions with complete confidence.
Break-Over Angle
Compared to the Polaris Sportsman XP® 850 EPS, the Brute Force® 750 4x4i EPS is designed with the advantage of a higher break-over angle that enables it to easily transition from uphill to downhill without the concern of high centering. More proportioned front-to-rear weight distribution further supports its excellent maneuverability. Added strength is built into the length of the vehicle, as opposed to its width, for a more comfortable ride.
Speed Sensitive EPS
Electric Power Steering (EPS) lets you take command of your ride so that you can easily negotiate every turn. This is accomplished by the system's ability to intelligently recognize current riding conditions and automatically adjust to optimal settings. Power assistance is greatest at low speeds or when stopped and assistance is reduced as speed increases to help ensure predictable handling. The result is enhanced ride quality and control with significantly reduced bump steer and handlebar kickback.
